Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Responsible for development of the organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Participates in strategic project planning discussions with team managers in development of area and corporate plans.

Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.

Roles in this function require a solid understanding of the organization's business operations, digital channels, consumer money movement, account origination, strategic direction and business environment to conduct operations analyses and develop and execute the organization's strategic plan. Participates in business network meetings with external and internal partners to stay integrated with the Lines of Business, opportunities and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in the administration of online account origination, payments, and fraud prevention initiatives.

  • Facilitates customer-centered approaches to operational risk and other control processes

  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes to identify and recommend channel enhancements

  • Partners with multiple teams to achieve the company’s strategic vision to use digital technology and channel functionality to provide unique and differentiated services.

  • Conducts or facilitates periodic reviews of achievements and performance versus the plans

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 - 5 years of Strategic Planning, Project Management and Banking Experience are required.

  • Knowledge of Digital banking platforms: online account origination, online banking or mobile

  • Proficient understanding of consumer products including money movement, deposit, credit, services and technology/digital services

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with the ability to solve complex issues

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Demonstrate the ability to be an effective leader

  • Ability to develop and apply creative business solutions

  • Must be proficient in developing professional communication documents in Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Must be an effective communicator - both written and oral.
