The person hired for this position will be involved in all phases of the software life-cycle, including requirements definition, design, testing, validation, implementation, and support. Support requirements will include resolution of technical issues resulting from coding, scripting, or process errors, system failures and attending meetings.
The candidate is expected to spend 80% of their time on hands-on development and the remainder on architecture/design/technical documentation.
What you will be doing.
Develop and maintain software.
Implement highly scalable components and reliable web application functionality in a high traffic transactional web based data environment.
Develop and maintain a thorough and automated unit test harnesses for developed solutions.
Develop and deploy systems in an iterative, incremental process that fully embraces Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD).
Work in a cross-functional software development team (business analysts, software engineers, testers).
Produce excellent, thorough, and concise development documentation.
Follow Agile Software Engineering and development practices.

What you will bring.
3+ years of experience in programming in Java/J2EE/J2SE.
Solid working experience of Java, OOP, SOA, modular code development, design pattern, multi-threading.
Server back end and API/Service development experience is required, or experience with UI development utilizing JS, JQuery, Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and other relevant technologies.
Experience in Spring Integration, Caching, or any similar technology is a plus
Experience with JIRA, Bamboo, BitBucket, Maven, Oracle, UNIX - Good understanding or network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP etc.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, proactive and go-getter
Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development, agile methodology
Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps
Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
Monitor program execution for expected performance
Ability to work independently
