I. Summary of Positions
Supports the Life Insurance sales effort and serves the banking needs of customers by analyzing & testing the suitability of financial products. Has responsibility for sales goals and client base from bank referrals as well as non-bank customers on life insurance products. Works to identify areas for improvement for performance in marketing of management methods and models, customer satisfaction and training.
II. Principle Accountabilities
Provides expertise to bank clients in all lines of life insurance.
Trains and motivates sales force to prospect and refer clients
Contacts prospect customers and supports the corporate- wide insurance sales effort by providing product support and directly selling to customers.
Analyzes customers’ needs and long-term goals, develop strategy plans, and tests suitability of financial products.
Interviews customers to gather information concerning their earnings and financial condition in order to determine the appropriate customer product.
Seeks out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms.
Works in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director and Regional Investment Sales Managers to develop specific work plans to maximize insurance sales production in all markets.
Identifies areas of opportunity and provides proactive feedback as well as ongoing coaching to sales staff.
III. Knowledge, Skills Abilities, Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years life insurance sales experience.
State Life and Series 7 licenses; Prefer CLU/CFP/ChFc designation.
Must exhibit a freindly and helpful attitude along with the ability to interact positively with direct reports, disctrict level executives and branch staff.
Demonstrate ability to coach the process of idedntifying needs and implementing an effective solution in a rapid growth environment.
Ability to analyze sales trends, conditions and facts for maximum efficiency for all sales teams.
Must possess an aptitude for solving complex issues.
Excellent wriiten communication skills.
Good knowledge of banking insurance and securities regulations, legal and documentation requirements.
Working knowledge of SharePoint and Google applications, and proficient in Microsoft Office desktop.
Willing to travel as the job requires, occasionally overnight.
