Job description

BBVA''s Open Platform entity is developing API-led banking solutions that facilitate payments, cards, customer information and other banking services. The Open Platform will be the trusted bank partner to financial innovators and companies seeking easy-to-integrate banking and payments solutions.

The primary mission for the Client Integration Manager is to facilitate the integration of Clients onto our Open Platform suite of products. The Client Integration Manager is a highly detail oriented; motivated self-starter; who has a passion of excellence and values integrity, innovation and success.

The Client Integration Manager will lead a team responsible for providing clients a positive experience while onboarding onto the Open Platform. This team is responsible for analyzing client’s needs and proposing the appropriate suite of Open Platform products and services needed to meet these needs. This team will shepherd the client through a successful onboarding process that could include many of following types of efforts and activities:

  • Creation of approach and project timeline for Client Integration

  • Necessary Due Diligence Efforts

  • Contract and Term Sheet Finalization

  • Provide guidance on integrating with the APIs

  • Oversight of integration projects using appropriate defect tracking and status reporting tools

  • Main point of contact for all Client Integration questions and issues for the Bank’s several operational, technical and control areas

  • Provides the Business Development team support when promoting and selling integration services

  • Provide client ongoing production support through an agreed upon Pilot phase

  • Development materials such as playbooks and manuals for support teams to support Clients after normal implementation
