Write comprehensive test plans derived from specs, emails, users and conversations
Execute test plans using manual and automated techniques
Define quantifiable metrics and hold team accountable for maintaining high Q/A standards
Collaborate with team to develop test automation frameworks, testing and build pipelines
Contribute to staff meetings, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and stand ups; provide regular feedback on top product issues and challenges
Collaborate with the team to strategize how to assign and prioritize each release
Make recommendations to improve product reliability, user experience, and quality assurance best practices
Learn new coding languages and exploit, tools, systems and process as needed to achieve the team goals
Setup and maintain demo and test environments with seed and mock data
Help the team find and evaluate new tools and services for testing and reporting
Work with management to drive best practices for Software Engineering and Quality
An experienced engineer and tester with a passion for software and UI/UX quality.
Experienced in TDD / continuous integration and delivery using CircleCI, Travis, Jenkins or AWS CodeDeploy
Experienced in testing RESTful services, SOAP and other APIs.
Experienced in testing microservices and serverless applications
Two or more years of experience using testing tools such as Junit, MSTest, Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber, Selenium Webdriver, Espresso, XCTest, RSPec and others.
Proven development skill with Node.js, Angular 6, Python, Bash, MongoDB, Redis, and AWS services
Experienced in testing mobile devices and applications
Experienced in load, performance, integration and security testing
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Effective with Agile Development process and procedure and time management
