About you

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile: - Team player - Motivated, in order to perform his new role and help the team to keep its successful performance - Dynamic person, who can adapt quickly and likes working in a dynamic environment - Human Skills, the role demands a constant communication with clients and different BBVA teams.

Your experience

  • The candidate should have a good knowledge of the structured products distribution business in the Swiss market.

  • Specific knowledge about equity derivatives and structured notes.

  • Highly motivated team-player who enjoys living the "one-team/customer comes first" approach

  • Experience: At least 1 years in Global Markets

  • Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish, French and/or other European languages will be valued.

This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification. It will be necessary to accurately inform the name of the certification in order to collate the information.


About the area

The vacant position is within Global Markets - Corporate and Investment Banking. The candidate will join the European Private Banking Structured Products Distribution Team. Such team is currently composed by 6 sales. The performance of the team has been fairly positive since its inception and it is currently one of the key teams distributing structured products at BBVA. - Team purpose: Swiss Private Banks coverage within the European Private Banks Structured Products Distribution Team. The team has a cross asset mandate, mainly in equities and credit but also in rates and FX, selling both otc and structured note wrappers."

About the job


  • Provide and distribute multi asset structured products to BBVA institutional clients under their responsibility.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing them with derivatives ideas and ad-hoc solutions to satisfy their hedging and/ or investment needs.

  • They will work closely with various stakeholders like Structuring, Trading, Client Coverage and other Sales teams globally.

  • The transactions range from standardized structures to complex solutions

  • Daily clients coverage

  • Onboarding of new clients

  • Looking for new business opportunities
